RSI Throttle mount and kill switch causing problem?

I have a 2009 Polaris Assault that I added a RSI throttle mount and kill switch. Last ride my sled exibited the dreaded VR failure. Output of the VR was 8 volts, so I've ordered a new one. But when trying to start I was getting no fuel. So I unplugged the kill switch under the dash and after a few pulls the sled fired up. I noticed talk about throttle cable slack, and the RSI mount allows for some slack. Could this cause the no fuel condition? Do I need to readjust the TPS settings after changing the throttle mount?

Thanks

i dont see how that could cause it but i guess it could. i've been running rsi's throttle block and kill switch for three years though with out a hick up.
