RSI bars

So picked up a 13 carryover standard rmk. Kinda miss the pro tapers. Can I put RSI burandt bars on the factory 3.5 riser and use same grips, controls, and hooks? I don't care about the switch block so relocating it isn't one of my priorities.

You could, but it's not going to be the same as your pro tapers. They are a different bend, I like them better, but they are different.

I'll sell you a set of Pro Tapers for cheap. Still has the left side grip warmers on but the right side was removed to get the throttle block off. I can do them fairly cheap if you want Pro Tapers.

RSI sells a gauge relocation setup for the RMK to work kind a like the Pro. See it HERE!

Thanks guys but I really don't care if I got that big switch block on or not. Mainly just want the feel of the bars. Can I use all my stock stuff on the RSI bars or wont it work?

I think the large brake block is too wide, you will only have 2"-3" of grip.

your cables wont reach, putting 7 inch pro tapers on top of the stock 3.5-4 inch riser with be supper tall and your cables wont be long enough. just buy a steering post out of a pro, then put your pro tapers on. it will be a squeeze but will work with the amount of room on the bars

My advice do it right or don't do it at all. Not sure why every one is so happy with the one size fits all approach with the Burandt and Adams bars. Since you have the t-post already you can find the exact rise you want . Pro-taper makes about 15 different bars so you can get the rise, sweep and pull back that fits you best. I like Pro-taper woods low my self. Like some one said the brake side cluster is to big so unless you got little hands you'll need to change the brake. I also change out to an aluminum throttle block, FLY killswitch and a Pro Design tether. Nothing looks worse then a nice sled with a half a$$ bar setup. some setups I've done.

Couldn't load more search my old post and you'll see more.

I see where all you guys are coming from. Probably just put in a 6 inch riser block and go like hell.

I've put Pro-Tapers on two IQ RMK's with minimal LH control mods. The stock long grip still goes on fine. I personally like RSI bars except for the cheap crossbar fastening hdwe. YMMV.
