I just put these on my M7 and it was cake. It depends if you want to keep your stock handwarmers or not. If you're careful when you cut the grips off you can salvage the warmers. Other than that, I used all the stock components from the stock bars. Real easy if you've previously gathered slack in the all the wire harnesses.

I doubt your handwarmers are going to get very warm with an aluminum bar, but I could be wrong......I have never ran one on a sled.

Thanks for the info really helpful.....what grips did yuo end up buying? Also what do you all need to mount the handgaurds just a universal mount kit?

My handguards came with the mounting brackets. As far as grips, I used the camo wraps they sell on RSI website. I haven't put them on yet though because I'm waiting on some handlebar hooks. I would purchase these hooks if you haven't or you won't have much hand room on each grip.

i hear theres a foam out there you can spray in your aluminum bars to conduct the heat better. not sure what the foam is but ill try to find out

"Great Stuff" foam works good for filling bars. I used it on my Tag bars I put on and it really helps.
