I am riding a 2008 M8 running 8-10psi As far as I know, stock gears, it has a speedwerx blue primary spring with 80g weights and an OVS Torsional with the silver speedwerx spring and 36/40 helix....

My question is, I have heard that the non HO motors do not spin as much as the HO motors. I have read and been told the non HO will like 7700-7900rpm on boost, and the HO is 8000-8400rpm. On the other hand I have been told to spin mine at 8150-8200...

What do you guys think? Should I just stick to the 80g weights and ride or drop to like 76g and really rev it. At about 5500ft in a field with heavy snow on 9psi it was pulling 7700...

07 M8 with Cutler stage 2, 10 lbs running 7900-8000 rpms. That seems to be my sled ' s happy spot. On a non HO motor, definitely don't want to be much over 8000 rpms.

I'm running an 09 non h/o. And I like to see around 8100-8200. She doesn't really start to pull hard till 8000-8100. That was 78gram at 9000ft. And 8-9 lbs of boost.
