Rotopax subframe mount

I saw a picture of somebody on here that had a rotopax fuel jug mounted to their subframe, but no closeup of the mount. I built one that works along with the mountain addiction can on the tunnel. It is a 1.75 gal rotopax. Totals about 20L of fuel between the two, with some of the weight a little further forward instead of mounting another can on the tunnel.

The rotopax mount is bolted to an aluminum plate attached to the subframe with 8 adel clamps.

If I don't want the extra 8L of fuel a small pelican case can go in place of the rotopax mount. I'd prefer a bigger one, but I had the 1120 sitting around so I used that for now. Most of my tools and a tow rope fits in there but its a little on the small side.

This will not work with TSS
I made my own clamps and plate out of 7075 Aluminum.
I didn't use the plate on the RotoPax mount.

I sold this TS but I am making another one for my 2016 LT Planning on leaving the TSS Off.:face-icon-small-coo

Why did you guys choose the 1.75 gallon, instead of the 2 gallon? Is it because it looks like it has the better handle for pouring?

I use two of them on a rack I built for summer riding, and they are slightly smaller than the 2 gallon ones and fit better for that. Just happened to be what I have around. I also don't really like the interlocking lugs on the bottom of the 2 gallon ones.
