Rotary valve oiling question 670 engine

Is there any way to use the premix fuel oil mixture to lube the rotary valve gear assembly and eliminate the oil reservoir setup on a 670 ? I have converted Arctic cats and polaris engines. Just want to know any Ski Doo experts experiences with using the fuel/oil charge to lube the center gear.

Thanks

just fill your rotary valve hose with injection oil about half way and loop them from top to bottom.

Bud

I use to use a small tank(size of a small asprin bottle) off of the 440 doos to keep oil in the line for the rotary valve when I pulled the injection off. OLE 670 moddy.
It was just easier and safer then filling the line to the rotary valve and watching it to make sure it does not run out of oil.

Just my .02

Ya know how to get ahold of me.

This is what I did as well, it works good. I like the comfort of having the extra oil.

Use a piece of clear hose and loop the lower fitting up to the upper fitting and fill it up. The clear hose will function like a sight-glass. I did it this way and typically only had to top it off once a season. If its using oil then the seals may be leaking excessively and as the RV gear would not be sealed entirely off from leaking crankcase pressure to atmosphere. Not likely enough to create a lean burn down- but not so skookum either.

Ditto.
