Roslyn Rider Killed in McCall crash

Very Sad:

Washington woman killed in snowmobile crash

BOISE, Idaho — Valley County officials are investigating the death of a 55-year-old Washington state woman in a snowmobile crash.

Witnesses say Linda Wunder of Roslyn, Wash., was riding with relatives and friends north of McCall on Monday afternoon when she went off the groomed trail and crashed into a tree. When the people she was riding with got to Wunder, she was not breathing.

Officials say three people began CPR while others called 911. Paramedics were not able to revive Wunder.

The crash is still under investigation.

I work with her and have gone riding with her and her husband a lot (last ride just three weeks ago). They have lived here in the Roslyn/Cle Elum area and been avid snowmobilers for 26 years.

My heart aches over this. There are a lot of folks in the area that are going to miss her.

Dave, I heard where she worked and thought of you. Very sorry for the loss.......

Our deepest sympathy and condolences to the family and friends of Linda Wunder.
I could hardly believe my ears when I heard about this. Things can happen so quickly. A person never thinks that something as tragic as this can happen and then it happens in our own back yard.
Again, our thoughts and prayers are with all of you in Roslyn.

My deepest prayers and sympathy for the family.
Although I never did meet Linda, I am a co-worker (at a different shop) of her husband and was greatly saddened by this news. I am sure this will be a very difficult time for him as well as other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held this Sunday. So very sad.
