Roosterbuilt for polaris??

So ive been reading that Roosterbuilt makes custom clutch kits and has their own helix for the Pro. is this true? and who can I talk too, ive researched and cannot find a website? im running a 2013 with a 162 3'', rktek drop in kit with a pipe and powercommander, need some clutching to go with it, any suggestions?

We do have a kit for the pro. It has been perfected over the last two seasons, it works very well and this season we are making a full release of the kit.

Kit includes:
Primary spring
Secondary spring
Delron washers
Custom Helix
Adjustable weights

Kit price is $375
Thanks for the interest.
We do not have a website. Call us at the shop if you want to talk specifics. (253)333-8533 hours are from 2:30-6:00pm PST

I'm gonna run a 3" 162" track on my 13 pro this winter. Do you have any "kits" or recommendations for a team tied secondary?

You cant go wrong with the rooster built clutch kit. Ride with a few guys that have them and they run awesome. The guys down at the shop are awesome to deal with as well.

Their shop sled was running a 3" last season and it was wicked dialed.

When I asked them about the web site thing, or lack there of, it was explained to me that the business model doesn't require or need it. All 100% word of mouth. For two guys it makes it manageable to give 100% focus on what they are good at in offerings and to customer service. Two great hard working guys that ride what they sell every weekend.

So, I am not only a fan of what they offer, but what they represent as well....

Also, I have a kit on order for my '12 as well.

I have their kit in my 2011 pro and it's been awesome. Waay smooth operation and just better through the entire RPM range.

I also ran their kit in my 07 Rev and it was a night and day difference from stock (stock clutching was beyond HORRIBLE on those sleds if anyone remembers).

Price was reasonable, shipping was quick, service was great....what more can ya ask for?

Sorry I didn't see this. Roosterbuilt does not have the grand reputation in the Poo world as they do in the Doo world. I'm running there set up on my 2013 Pro with a 163" X3 3" track and 7 tooth drivers. Frankly I have never ridden a sled that is clutched this well. In WA my sled runs 8250 from 2500 to about 6000 feet. It is rock solid at those RPM and it doesn't seem to matter what snow conditions are. At most I get 100 RPM up or down. The kit has a dual angle helix and when I ride WY, which is mainly 8000 feet but we run from 6000 to 9000 it runs rock solid at 8350-8400. My buddies who ride WY a lot like to run a little higher RPM because the thin air is costing them some HP and this kit delivers just that. I have never had any sled I owned stay right on RPM no matter how steep or deep it gets and the dual angle helix gives you awesome versatility.

jdtech65 do you have the team tied secondary already? If not you should try their setup without it first. Maybe money you don't need to spend. I am not sure if their Pro package can be improved for the 162x3" track set up. It literally worked perfectly for me.:face-icon-small-hap

Yes I ran the Team Tied secondary all last year. I never ran the stock secondary last year at all. I had my primary sheave machined at Carls and ran SLP weights. I still have my stock secondary so if roosterbuilts kit works that good with the stock secondary I still have that option.
