Rookies

We are 2 complete rookies! We bought the sleds to get further into the back country to explore more ski terrain. Any tips anyone is willing to give up would be graciously excepted.
We've spent the last 3 years in Montana, so any ideas of the latest, greatest ski/sled touring would also be nice to know.
We've got a 2005 Arctic Cat M6 and 2006 Arctic Cat M7
