Has anyone had any problems with their tether switch? when I plug mine in i have no power. when I by pass it sled runs. Where do I get a replacement?

Do you have the Jacobson rollover valve or the OFT version. The main reason that I went with the OFT version is so that I would have the better tether. If you are not sure the Jacobson one is red and the OFT one is black. Either way I would just talk to whichever one made the kit.

I would prefer having the OFT version. I have never been a big fan of the rubber plug together versions the other kit has. I don't say any of this to take away from Mr. Jacobson. He was the original designer and we all owe him for coming up with something the sled should be factory installed with.

I was just talking to OFT about that last night.

I have both.

The Jacobson on my sled
The OFT on my son's sled.

Both work just fine.

BUT...

I personally like the ability to surface mount the jacobson interface where I want it, vs. mounting it on the handlebars. I find that it is MUCH easier to plug the tether key into the little red connector.

But.
The little red condom that fits over it DOES get torn with time.
I need to replace mine this season.

One of those Alaska boys flushmounted their OFT one to the console right above the fuel cap. I can't remember if it was Nikolai or Hyflyer. I think it was one of them. I got mine positioned on the bars where I do really like it.

I think they just took the bottom side off and used machine screws and nuts on the back side of the plastic.
