Had my 12 year girl up there for the first time. She did great.
At the end of the day a half dozen of us dropped off the backside down to Warren Wagon road to Rotary park for a bbq,'s and watch the fireworks.

Sounds like a great day! Awesom for your daughter! We were out on the lake in our jet boat and had a nice time with the family! Here are a few pics...

We were paddlin around the lake in our yaks. Pretty cool with the fireworks reflection on the water as you can see in your pics. Hows upper Payette for fishing ? Might be a good paddle / fish for us sometime.

One of the kids caught a little guy that day - we're not real big into fishing so maybe someone who knows what they're doing could do better! That lake is SUPER nice to hang out on though! Nice camp ground, quite and serene! Lots of hiking, mountain biking and dirtbike single track trails take off from that area too. The lake is a no wake lake so we just fired up the kicker on our jet boat and trolled around. Water is warm too so nice for swimming!
