was invited to test ride of a 11 pros with a HM turbo on it on the LoLo pass, this sled flat out rips with 9lbs of boost i had to really hang on or get ripped off. There was cat guys ski-doo and yamaha guys all there and they where all saying the same thing (f ing WOW) rode the 155 and 163 both has camo tracks on them.It was just awsome on the power and no turbo lag it was just right there.Shane Heart has a very good product and very easy to talk to about any tuning and he throws a great party too.thanks shane and the unionbay/Fastrax guys for all the info i received also.so if you are looking to turbo a pro or dragon get ahold of shane he is the man

Hi Polhiker...great meeting you Saturday.

I'll take your post one step further...that sled blew my socks off.

For those that do not know, I bought the 163...it has the Cammo Extreme. It was running just a little over 6lbs boost on Saturday.

I took it STRAIGHT into the tight trees and started in and out of 1/4 throttle for a a while, trying to drown it in fuel...then I pinned it. The throttle reponse is instantaneous.

This was my first ride on a boosted sled and I was completely blown away. Its the same power-curve as the stocker, only double the power.

I also had shane install the water/air intercooler. Also he had the shocks valved for my meek 250lb frame.

Clutching was perfect...engaging at around 3900rpm (offical now Shane as I tried her out today)

Guys, I am not being biased...you need to check out HM Turbo's and if you are contemplating a boosted sled you need to talk to Shane (406-273-6111...I remember it off by heart as I have been bugging him for the past couple of weeks).

This guy will go out of his way to make sure your sled WORKS and will share any updates.

I will keep you posted on my future rides....

very sincerely

Hmmm, sounds a little biased or worse yet, a paid advertisement. J/K, great report and now you've made my decision even more difficult on which way to go with my '12 Pro.

just giving ya crap..man I bet the permagrin lasted that whole drive home...congrats ...

Longgolds sled ripped. Shanes on 9lbs was a monster. Pretty impressive.
awesome, now, the cat boys have a thread up about M-8 turbo vrs pro..they are saying they are killing the pro's..even turboed.....would love to see a true comparison....I just cant see it on same boost..might be even, even a touch better..but killing them?

Haha...homos that say those things usually can't ride worth a S$it and that's all they have...bragging on some internet forum.

Compare Kieth Curtis 800 Assaut turbo to Tapio's turbo Pro climb.
Kieth was running four seconds faster. I believe both are Boondocker's.
