Rod End substitute?

Anyone found a cheaper rod end vs the $37 polaris one?

I'd go to ace hardware and get something but I'm not sure exactly what strength the oem ones are.

Summit, jegs, speedway motors all sell many grades of quality rod ends

Alternative Impact has some. I'm not sure if they are what you are looking for, but can be found on their site underneath the a-arms.

Anyone know the grade Poo uses so I can hunt a match? Maybe I'm splitting hairs but I don't want to go to flimsy and start going thru them and I don't want to go to beefy and start breaking something else

Which sled model and year?

Which "rod end" did you break (part and position... inner/outer/A-arm)??

Also... Please know that all of the "rod ends" used on the polararis are high-angularity ends with studs... you'll be hard pressed to find a 75 degree rod end with metric threads...IMO.

Polaris part 7061178 ROD END-M12X2.812 30°

For a 12 Pro rmk, it's the upper outter a-arm rod end. I didn't actually break it surprisingly.... It's just got a nice bend to it and the threads touch

Thanks MH

IMO opinion, I'd get the Poo part. You're not going to find other high grade ends like that much cheaper.

I agree with Rich.

The Polaris A-Arm-top rod ends are pretty darn high quality and the angularity is important.
