The snow was awsome going in on sat. We had more than two feet of fresh on sat and a great base. We got to liz butte and dropped our gear and fuel and went on to Bald Mt. and it just got deeper then we got the Castle Butte lookout and it cleared up just enough ot see the lochsa and the hwy 12. We stayed the night at Liz Butte cabin and got another two feet on sat night for the ride out. We were the the only sleds in there on sun. Excellent weekend for the snow pack.
