Rocky Mtn Sheep Permit - 2 out of 3 years!!!

Well, I sit here dum founded, some of you know that my wife SnoJo drew a coveted Rocky mtn Bighorn Sheep tag in the fall of 2006 and got her ram. There is only one tag given in this unit each year, well, after 25 years of trying and 2 years after Jo drew hers, ....... I GOT THE TAG THIS YEAR !!!!!!!!!!!


WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!


I watched the Idaho Fish and Game in 1977 plant the original sheep from helicopter that started this local herd. I have watched them over the years fighting, living and was able to guide my loving wife to take one in 2006, now its my turn!! Yipee!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW, my dad has 14 Desert sheep points in utah, that pretty much garuntee's him a tag next year. I drew an almost as covented tag as that. Utah Limited Entry Elk with only 4 Points. WAHOO. I'm chasing the biggest elk in the world come this september!!!!!!! Lets see a pic of the ladies ram? That is an impressive draw especially with the lack of a bonus point system in idaho

Yes we are blown away the odds and luck due to no bonus points, still sinking in !!!

here are a couple of pics of Snojo's Ram taken in the fall of 2006, it was her first hunting of ANY type of animal, and obviously her first shot taken at an animal, 550 yds. straight up hill, I had a long post & thread in the old forum. She even got her name in the paper for her perseverence to get her ram in spite of her leg.

I will be in the same saddle opening morning!!
