Rocks and Frontend Damage:

watched my buddy hot about a 3 foot round rock today. Considering what he hit, and how the impact was (40ish mph), quite surprised there is not structural damage.

We were out doing some playing around, my buddies first ride on his new SB Assault. 10.8 miles into the day, and he finds the rocks that I narrowly missed.

Long and short of it all, here is the damage that we can see:
-bent ski
-cracked clutch side panal
-stabalizer bar link broken
-shock snapped in half
-lower arm snapped
-upper arm folded
-gouged spindle

I"d get pics but its too dark too see anything here tonight, maybe tomorrow

those cast aluminum bulkheads can't be beat, just one of the many things that make the pro the leader in the snow! we rode saturday and my buddie pegged a stump, not anywhere near the speed your guys were going, thankfully nothing damaged but his ego;)

My buddy got a tree 23 miles into the breakin ride on his assault, only bent the lower a-arm. I have done that on a rev and taken out an entire front end...

I hit a Boulder today and destroyed my right side panel on my 08 700 RMK, any one have and extra one they can part with ? Kind of glad I am waiting for my replacement running board support for my Pro, Probably would of damage it instead. Watch out for land mines.
