RMZ Input

I have an 09 RMZ 450 with a full yosh built race motor. The bike isn't worth a lot and is setup perfectly for me so I have kept it even though I have others. Well this forum finally got me the itch and I got a 15 ST kit to put on and can get a 16 ST track if needed.

This is a 66 rwhp motor in full tune but the tune I run is about 59 to the rear on pump. I am a little worried about cooling but it has never had a single issue with cooling running mx or offroad

Questions
What gearing should I start with
I am already at .58 fork springs and weigh 235. I have a pretty great revalve so I have lots of room to stiffen with the clickers but I think there is only one spring higher. Is this going to be stiff enough?

Assuming the bare min mods are thermo bob and intake? I haven't seen many RMZs posted on here so any intake recommendations or anything else would be very helpful. I have learned tons from this forum and cannot wait to ride a snowbike.

I havea 08. I make engine shroud kit for them. Thermostat and air intake kit are 3 most important things to start with. I can set you up if u want.

If your doing a TSS the intake that comes with it then your taken care of on that front. As for the rest, thermobob with a temp gauge, good sized plastic skid plate does a lot if your not riding it in super deep snow.

Looking at the sleds you have in the stable im sure the RMZ will be the more mid/poor snow condition ripper so At that point you would be doing fine.

Sounds like a killer bike with that setup and would rip in the snow!

I would think that with the HP you are making you should be able to pull 14 16 up top and 17 20 in the chain case. I admit I know nothing about the Suzukis but I'm assuming that's their MX bike so I'm also assuming it has a close ratio tranny.
