RMK SLP intake on a Fusion... Will it fit?

I noticed SLP has one part number listed for the RMK/ Switchback SLP intake and another part number listed for the Fusion one. I have a chance to pick up a used one off of an 05 RMK that I want to put on my 06 Fusion. I want to know if it will fit before I buy it. I've searched on here and on HCS and can't find squat. Thanks in advance.

Why do you need the SLP intake anyway for a trail sled?

I think they made two versions of the SLP intake ... one fiberglass and one aluminum.

Pretty sure you gotta remove the front radiator to make it work.

Someone please chime in if I am wrong.

With the Fusion airbox, you do not have to remove the radiator unlike with 05'-06' RMK and Switchback which requires removal of the front radiator to make the airbox fit.

But if he uses one for an RMK/Switchback, the radiator would have to come out right?
To tell you the truth, i believe there is a reason that SLP has a part number for the RMK's and Switchbacks and another part number for the Fusions and that is i feel that the nose pan of the fusion is shorter/smaller than the RMK/Switchbacks and that will not allow for fitment of the RMK/Switchback airbox. Best bet is to contact SLP directly to answer all questions.

That's kinda what I was wondering also, after looking at pics of both sleds, the Fusions do look like their nose is slightly smaller/narrower/shorter than the standard RMK nose... Hard to say for sure not being able to look at both sleds in person, but that would be my guess also...

Good Advice, SLP could tell ya for sure....:beer;

That's why I'm thinking about swapping out plastic to Fusion stuff...plus, around here, nobody would know what it is:D

Just an update on my question. I spoke with the people at SLP and they said the intake will not fit and it is a completely different design.
