RMK RUNS FOR A FEW SECONDS

hey

i have an rmk 900

just rebuilt the engine and reinstalled

was going fine then it just died when i was riding it

it would then start up and idle but as soon as you would touch the throttle it would die, now it will idle for 10 or so seconds then die

it has fuel pressure i have put the tank from my other one on it and it makes no difference

i have inspected the stator and it looks fine

replaced fuel filter

i have tested all kill switches and the ones on the throttle

i have tested the tps and set it correctly

so i am almost out of ideas

Have you been able to do the work in a heated garage, or can you keep it going if you give it some gas to keep it from stalling? I've had similar issues when I first had some snow ingestion problems. It needed a real good thawing out with a fan on it in a warm garage , frog skinz, and some foam in some gaps. Just an idea.

Have u checked the reeds? If they are chipped or broken it will have these issues as well

Mine did the exact same thing last week. Was running great then the temp outside dropped and the engine started stalling. I could get it going by holding the throttle wide open then starting it and it was missfiring like crazy.

Got it home added ISOHeat to the tank and after 4 or 5 starts it cleared up and runs perfect now. Water in the Gas.
