all the advice u need is in the 900 section alot of great info there, leave the crank alone just balance the clutch, and make sure u put push and torque arms on,check the motor mounts too they are probably shot,i could write for hrs on this but it is all in the 900 section good luck,i loved my 9

got my engine back and would fire up every pull but would take 5 or 6 pulls to kept it running.thinking just have to adjust TPS. ran it a couple of times and let it cool down for break in did the coat hanger trick on the oil pump looks like i'm getting oil (lot's of smoke in my shop) started ok a couple of times
after that. put every thing back together stock air, hood back on and was going to take it for a test ride. now it's a pig to start, bogs and will not stay running . when it does fire up the lights flash a couple times the display goes on and off a few times also then the motor dies. whats up? it's like it's running out of power.

Whats the reason for deleting the front rad? And also moving the fuel tank back?

If you are a mountain rider the front rad does not work. The air intake to it gets plugged with snow and the sled actually runs hotter with it in. It also is a bunch of useless weight in the nose of your sled.

Don't know about 1/2 an inch but moving the tank back a little gives more room for the wiring. Polaris has the wires smashed in so tightly in front of the tank that they tend to get pinched and wear through after a while.

any one have an idea why my sled will not stay running starts then dies dont know where to start testing

fixed the mag wire now it's somthing else it ran for five mins now it wil not stay running tach is bounceing and dash is flashing and only idles must have an outher power problem any ideas?

Awe man...with a title to the tread like this... I'm a little dissappointed...:face-icon-small-dis

I thought this was a new miracle product... Like... "Johnson and Johnson announce new... "RMK RESTORE"... rub it in... wipe it off. In just minutes you will have your old ragged RMK looking like new. No muss. No fuss. Just $19.95, but wait, call in the next 20 min and well double that, two bottles PLUS... two "Sham WOW!!" polishing pads... thats over a $100 value if you act now"
