RMK Headlights Lo-beams Only Work After Sled Has Run For a Long While

First I would like to introduce myself. I have been pouring over many, many posts here and have learned a great deal about snowmobiles. Thank you.
So my problem, I have a 2012 Standard RMK, 1300mi, new to me, first sled. After cleaning the exhaust valves, this sled runs great! An issue I noticed is that the low beams only turn on after the sled has been running for most of the day. High beams work as they are supposed to. Checked for shorts outside of the main headlight control panel, everything seems up to snuff there. Have not found a way to crack into the main headlight control housing.
Any ideas as to why this is happening? Should I be concerned? If not, it doesn't bother me at this time. Just wanting to make sure that it isn't a symptom of something larger that should be fixed!
Thanks again for your help!

If the Hi beams work.... I wouldn't worry BUT... Big Concern... Don't run the sled without headlight load or you could burn up your voltage regulator.

Sounds to me like you have a bad switch in the LH handlebar "pod"... Or... Maybe, quirky I know, Low beam elements of both the headlight bulbs are burnt out... I've seen this once before.

Since high beam and low beam and grip heaters are fed by the same input... It is not a power problem. Both high and low beams share the same ground... so it is not a ground problem... and there is no low or high beam fuse.

Thanks MH,
Just to clarify, you said to be sure to be running HL so I don't burn up VR, should I run w my high beams on since my lo beam are not always on?

Yes.... run with High beams on all the time and do NOT shut them off.

Try moving the switch back and forth 30-40 times and then see if they work....

Also...remove the bulbs and test both the high and low beam sections with a car battery and some jumper wires.

Do not touch the glass part of any halogen bulb...(even the ones in your shop lights)

Why shouldn't I touch my halogen bulb with my fingers?

Do not touch the surface of a quartz halogen bulb with bare fingers, as the quartz surface will be exposed to the salts and oils in the hand. This will cause a weak area and lead to premature lamp failure. If you happen to contact the bulb with your fingers, carefully clean the quartz surface with a gentle solvent such as alcohol.
