rmk front bumper

They make a good metal front bumper for your 05.

Skinz makes a GREAT bumper for the early IQ sleds. Highly recommended!

No other Polaris OEM bumper will mount to an early IQ without replacing the entire belly pan assembly.

Only problem (not a problem for some) is that you must delete your front radiator to install the skinz bumper. I for one am NOT a big fan of deleting the radiator. These sleds run hot as it is and with the radiator deleted, if you spend more than a few minutes on a packed trail your going to run hot even with scratchers. :face-icon-small-win

I disagree. With the rad delete done properly, my '06 900 ran cooler in all conditions. Hard packed, powder, groomed trails....it didn't matter. Ran my 9 for over 4000 miles with the rad deleted and never had any issues.

You can only use the polaris metal bumper with the narrow body kit from 08 to 10.
Then you can use the 08 to 10 small hoop aluminum bumper.
Otherwise you will have to use an aftermarket bumper like skins with rad delete.

Here's an '06 900 with the new front end. Rad delete done and the OEM bumper fit fine.

So I put about 75 hard pack trail miles on it , nothing over 148. I think adding the 6-7 feet of hose helped out huge. Most the ride the sled ran at 124-130 , last year same conditions it would be 165+.
