I have an 06 IQr that i'm putting a 155 in. I have the rmk drive shaft and iqr drive shaft side by side and they look interchangable but i've heard they are not.

Has anybody tried?
if they aren't interchangeable why not?

thanks for the input

carl

I tried the hollow shaft from a 121" sled and the shaft was not wide enough for the IQR tunnel, I still have it if you need it or any measurements.

i just got the reply from HOLZ:

"We needed to modify both the drive shaft and the chassis. We installed our rolled chaincase kit and had to modify the end of the drive shaft (left) to fit a different size bearing.

FYI: These parts are not available anymore."

so looks like i might have to use the stock shaft :(

Try wahl brothers they should be able to hook you up, they sell all kinds of stuff for the IQR since they make champ series parts for them. I believe they can sell Ti or hardened steel, as well as slotted jackshafts (for running button secondaries).

I have heard that Mark has done some different things that are not worth repeat builds, but people on here seem to be needing the things he does not make anymore. I ran into that with some suspension brackets so I am going to build my own.

I think it is positive for the other companies out there.:beer;
