rmk 900 tps issues?

So I have a 2005 RMK 900 50th aniversary edition

The sled was running good, started getting a bog, with a single flash on the guagees (alledged TPS issue). If we threw snow on the motor it would run good for aboujt 15 minutes or so. Now it is to teh point that it bogs all the time, and has no reverse

Do you think it is the TPS or something else? Is there a simple test or bypass I can do?

BTW, this sled is up for sale after it is fixed if anybody is interested. It can be delivered to jackson, wy the week of feb 9th

TPS adjustment
TPS failure
TPS wiring problem
All very common, and can certainly cause the bog you are experiencing. No reverse also follows TPS problems. By the way, throwing snow on a sled engine isn't a very good maintenance practice... just sayin'.
If you own, or are going to buy another Polaris CFI sled, build the TPS testing / setting tool.... you WILL use it again.

Yes it is definitely your tps, what DiscoDan said. One flash code is tps. here is the link to the "how to" section "how to" the ones for tps are the first two, how to make a tool and also how to check tps, also a video on there.

Also throwing snow on your motor will also create more problems. If it is cooled too fast then the head will warp.

yeah

the snow was to get it out of the bowl we were in, didnt really have a choice since the sled "had" to get out on its own as it was in an un-towable situation.

Thanks for the links
