rmk 900 06 to 05 motor swap issues

hey guys I am changing my motor and I am having spark issue, I went from the 4 injector motor to the 2 injector motor, is there any changes I need to make to the wiring harness or just swap the injector part so the harness has 2 injectors? could the ecm be an issue with spark due to it saying its for a 4 injector system, please help guys.... thank you

On the 900 it not as simple as switching the engines..they are different..you will need the proper ecm and posibbly the wiring harness for the proper engine..there might be an issue with the steering also...
 
ECU is differnet, wiring harness, Fuel pressure regulator (fuel pump is the same), injectors (of course), steering post/hoop/mount, pipe, y-pipe, and some other things are different.

The fuel pressure regulators are not available separately and you would need to find a good used one or the whole PFA.

If you are running the same PFA that came with the 2006... you will have double the fuel pressure you should have... and the spark coil wiring IS different from what I remember.

06 700 into an 05 900 chassis ...steering post in the way

I thought I could swap these in easily, but found out differently.

I bought a nice 700 motor with wiring harness and ecu, but the injectors will not clear the steering post.

How do I retro fit this?

I've got an '06 chassis that's about to go to the dump. I'm in Colorado. How 'bout you?
 
Get the 06 Steering set up out of his 06 Chassis

Basically just rivited in.

You will need the rider select also it has more slant to the Post mount
