rmk 600 turbo trouble

I have a 2007 rmk 600 with high marks turbo kit that im having some trouble with, its ran great but the last time i was out i could not get any high rpm out of it no matter what i did. I checked the power valves, changed spark plugs, and pulled and cleaned the carbs, after i put everthing back together i was testing it on the stand and still didnt run well in the high rmp. I touched the Carbs and i got an electric shock which isnt normal, i could see the spark inbetween the air box hose clamp and the carb, got more spark when the engine went higher in rmp. So im wondering if i have a short that could be causing the problem or is the VR no good, my dash did go out when i reached high rmps. Just trying to figure it would would be nice not having to take it to the dealership....

Do your hand warmers work? If not, they could be shorting out on the bars.

Any other info - do you have EGT's or AFR? If so, what are the readings at higher rpm's?

Ok i'll check out the grounds in the AM. Ya the hand warmers work, and i dont know what the Air to Fuel Ratio is or the Gas Temp i dont have those gauges. How would i check the stator to make sure it is making constant power?

You can eliminate the handwarmers by unplugging them.
Is one of your plug wires shorting out? Check where the plug wires run between the exhaust valve and the head. It's kinda an easy spot for them to wear a hole in the insulation and short out.

My charge tube must have been sitting on the top of the spark plug for a while and wore through the rubber so it was shorting out traveling down to the carbs where i was getting shocked. Went and pick up new ends and ran it this morning problem solved thank goodness it was an easy fix.... Thanks guys!!!!
