Anyone have any experience with an RKTek 738 big bore for the 600 HO motor? Are they more reliable than an 800? How do they run compared to 800's? etc...

For starters I would call Kelsey direct.
man i would talk to kelsey ,but it would be nice to hear from a few customers ,i asked the same question about a big bore SHR 600 seems like know body runs them why ? maybe nobody makes a good one or why big bore a 600? so i will wait and get a 800 myself.
I ran one 2 winters ago.. it went pretty dang good.. ony thing to deal with as far as carb changes, adjust the needles, I think its all in the install manual, I was lazy and forgot to adjust the carb fueling in the midrange.. 2 sets of pistons later I figured it out.. it ran awsome, but cruising the trail mid throttle burned it down 2 times within 100 ft of the exact same spot. long straight with nice high speed mid throttle cruising after that. I was just to lazy to read all the directions mess with the carbs(I was ignorant then)
I have the 734 bb from rkt Bought it used in gret shape Last year went riding with powder pete in revolstoke He said it was the best little running sled He has rode before I have done just the bb Clutch it good with 160/320 purple spring Geared it to 19/47 Always pull 8050 rpm Never had any belt problems It is a great little moter that will surprise people Compared to a 800 ho moter IT IS very compareable I say give it a try Clutch it gear it and just have fun with it Always been reliable for me
