So guys, I want to hear from riders that have installed and tested kelseys drop in kit, I want to hear cold hard facts, did you really see 10+ hp gains, did you see increase in track speed when your climbing. I know stock 2012 pros 155 would get about 37 mph track speed in steep and deep, my 2011 cat 162 would do 42 mph in same conditions, so post your opinions and facts. I'm ready to pull the trigger on one of these kits, but I've read so many things on these forums, even arguments lol, that I've got mixed feelings, so bring it on.
Tks

I do not know if this will help.... but I got my kit installed on my 2012 163 with a team tied secondary and RK TEK helix at 3850 feet -4 degrees C, added 2 grams of weight and it would pin over 8500 almost right away.

heading to revy in two weeks and bringing 10-66 weights will see if i need them or not, and will post results after I get back

i have roughly 50 miles on my 2013 155 pro with kelsey's drop in kit with the higher compression head. I have "stacked" his set up with an slp pipe can power commander and my own clutching (not slp's set up). It is a noticeable difference. as far as track speed i do not know yet as we only have about 2 feet of snow right now. what i do know for fact is that with this set up running the slp stage 4 map which is def. on the rich side i was able to quite easilly beat a 2012 stage 4 slp pro 800 in a short drag race. not only that i am pulling 2 grams heavier weights than the same set up with out the drop in kit. and i'm pretty sure i'm going to have to add even more weight. the power band feels much SMOOTHER and it even gives the motor a lot crisper sound. I am sold on these kits so far after a little bit of experience around kelsey's product last year and this year. Lets just say that mine ran good enough not even broke in that i have already sold 7 more of kelseys drop in kits. Eric Woog (owner of VOHK) is also running these kits and he def. knows what he is doing when it comes to making power on sleds.

Just got my first break in ride on Kesley's Head and Pistons. Granted, Mine is a turbo application, and I also just did a Tial Turbo upgrade and TPS smart EBC, so I cannot attest to just head and pistons being the only difference in performance. However, The sled runs great, and feels really crisp. I have a little tuning to do, to clean up the bottom end, but am holding off until I get a full tank of premix through, and we get enough snow that I can test with track load.

I have aprox 350 miles on Rkteks drop in piston/head kit stock compression domes, 2010 assault cfi4 stock exhaust no fuel controller, stock clutching. I easily pulled on a 2011 assault and 2012 freeride etec 800, no sled in our group of 10 riders came close. Not sure about the power claims... I will be just a little sad if you guys start showing up with kelsey's kit.. :'(

When I first started it I couldn't believe how smooth it idled, I had also gutted my t-stat and ran 120-140F before the kit, now it runs @ 100-120F. Cooke City April 50F, can't remember what weight 10-60 or 62's but ran 8450 on every climb

i've ran mine for about 15 miles, runs real smooth, fighting rpm issues from last year.last year at the end of the year i was only pulling 74 to 7600 rpm with 10-60s,after kit pulling 79 to 8000 rpm with 10-62,just replaced one bad reed valve and injectors tonight will try tomorrow, hoping i have my problem fixed, not really worried about kit but more about my root problem.

More good reports coming in after this weekend.
Much appreciated guys...

60miles on '11 assault. Pulls harder in the bottom for sure. Vibration from motor is reduced greatly, especially at 2800-3000rpm. Smooth and consistant, so far.
