RKT Helix Question

Will the new 09/10 M series Rkt helix work on an 07 M sled with factory reverse. Let me know.

The only downside is it makes it a touch tougher to pull the belt, but no big deal.

I thought it is tougher to catch reverse too? I am not sure just hear this from someone.

Will it work even on the fly emergencies where you have to hit the reverse coming down a hill to stop. I have used the standard rkt but the new on has the notches in it for the new 09/10's. Keep the opinions coming

If you're talking about an 07, the helix has nothing to do with reverse, it's done in the DD after the helix.

So no, the helix won't change any reverse situations at all. (on the 07 or 08)

Use the 3 prong tool that came with the RKT clutch kit to compress the secondary spring when you want to take your belt off or swap it out, just stick it in the holes and twist without loosening anything...it works like a champ!
