Got my head the day after christmas. Fit, finish and machine work are absolutely perfect. Surprised how easy it is to get in to the XP motor and remove the head. There is a lot of room in there. Got a really good look at the stock jetting with the head off. Mag side seems a lot richer than the pto. The most noticable thing with the new head is the punch when you hit the gas. It had pretty good punch before, but now the front end comes up a lot easier when the track hooks up. Very nice mod for the boondocker in and out of the throttle. I didnt have any jets to jet down with, but that will be next. Highly recommended mod.

Like what an aftermarket head offers for close to $400 beans who has the best head out there. Also, for half the price, can't you send out your stock head to BJ and have a sleeper?
 
Jet that sucker down, you aren't getting much of the benefit until you jet down a few sizes.
 
Just as a fallow up. When I put the head on I didnt have my jets with me, but checked the piston wash real close with the head off. PTO side about where you want it and the Mag side alittle rich. After a full day of riding with the head pulled the plugs and looked down the cylinders with my fiberoptic borescope. Wow, both cylinders had 2-3x the wash they had with the stock head. Jetted down from the stock 480's to 460's today. Ran very well. Didn't have time to check the wash with the 460's yet, but bet its still rich.
