is anyone running this setup, just looking for input on how its working. i have been testing both tss 04 and tied setups what seems to be working the best what helix and spring combos and your elevation lets compare notes and figure out a good all around setup that works.thanks for your input

I have had the Tied secondary for almost a year now and just got my first full ride after breaking in my drop in kit.

I'm riding at 5000' on average and up to 7000'
13.1 Head
Stock primary spring
10-66 weights
Tied secondary 73-57-(I can't remeber the 3rd angle) Team red secondary spring. It is the kit from Team Aftermarket, just install and ride!!
The sled is taching 8150 rpms and holds it; I may drill out 1/2 gram of weight out just to gain the extra 150 rpms.
Overall the sled runs great, noticable power improvement and will only get better with the extra rpms, backshift is great. No complaints here!!

Ditch, wats ur track speed, in powder in steep and deep? A pure powder run with no Trax poaching? That helix is equivalent to a 58-38, hence the heavier weights.

When I rode Saturday I did not check the track speed; but it hauls *** though!! We donn't have good enough snow conditions here to check but we're heading to Powder King in a couple weeks again to ride so I'll check then. I've have not seen a chart that compared tied helix angles to regular helix angles. When I was researching the tied clutch, the number I heard was 15 degrees more helix angle.

ditch, the crossover chart is on goodwins website, I'm real intrested to know ur trax speed, mine went down with shallower finish

Just got back from Cooke and i have a 2012 pro rkt drop in with my team tied clutch.

Team Tied
Red/Black Spring
73-57-46 Helix
58g weights

Sled ran really well. However, i had oil issues and was going through an entire tank of oil in roughly 80 miles or so. So not having the motor perform to its potential can be easily said. I still outclimb 2012 proclimb 800 and a 2013 pro rmmk 800 (half the time, 2013 pro rider was very good). With that i love the new set up and can't wait for the next trip to get it running right and really see the potential of this set up.

I just got of the phone with Jason at team, this were his comments, the 13 pro belt drive IS A little taller in gearing, he recommends the combo of 73/57 73/59 .46 with a red-black spring, the combo that we've bought for the stock team at carls is no good, he said .46 is to long and the gold initial 170 rate is to high. He recommended trying stock weight first and going from there.

clutch

well that could be true but the carls helix is a 40 not a 46 at least mine is a 62-42-40 60-40-40 so barely longer shift point than stock and the black purple that i have had the best results with is 160 240 with the carls helix maybe try this spring, the tied setup i have used is 71-57-46 71-55-46 red black spring it was the setup i had for my 163 pro i had last year but seems fine on my new one i ride 9 to 11000 ft so its should work fine especially trying to pull the rpm we are tuning for. i also have a rkt helix for the tied and it wont pull it, looking at it side by side to the team helix its a lot steeper angles, its last years helix but he says the new one is very close to the same little changes is all

Gotcha

I'm running indydans clutching with a long rod motor so apples and oranges.
But mine rips.

Stock with par head i was running a 73-61-.46 with blue pink primary 68 mtx near full load and blk purple sec.
Ran good.
I'm low altitude here in ak tho.
