What are you hoping to accomplish by going from a Straight 34 to a 36/34?

I installed the RKT kit on my 2009 M8 162" and it worked fine around home (2000ft) but up in the hills I could not get the clutch to grab the belt...huge slipping issues, smokin belts, after a million adjustments and playing a buddy of mine had a brand new STM 11" old style helix type of secondary, good god people there is no doubt in my mind that this HAS to be in every Cat I own from now on.
I have the RKT kit installed if anyone wants to trade for their stock clutch (2009) trade complete assembly?
Think you can make it work? no money trade, just simply a swap out for a stock 2009 clutch

What spring and helix is your buddy runnin on his sled. and what sled is it? i have the clkutch on an M8 and looking for other input on helix ans springs.

RKT Rocks

I have the earlier generation kit on an 08 M8 - 156" Camo Extreme. Using a 38/34 progressive helix and the dual spring setup this year, used a red/white cat spring last year. Much better then the stocker - don't be afraid to try different spring holes. This is actually my wife's sled, and will likely install a straight 36 or 34 for better mountain performance.

Has anybody put a kit on a 2010 and if so what are you using for a belt deflection adjuster amp,bdx? May be Kelsey can answer this one.
