I just installed 858 kit and now I am just waiting for some more snow and try it out. I will let you know how it goes. Also talk to kelsey, Really nice guy and will make time to talk to you and help as well.
D8Rider - Wondering what elevation your going to test the BB out at? I'm roughly 2000' elevation. Also, which fuel controller did you go with and are you running pump gas (91 octane)?
3 to 6 thousand feet, went with boondocker fuel controller, also added the innovate wideband gauge. will be running chevron 94 oct, also with eth plug in for break in
Kelsey currently has my cylinders, working his magic. I will be running my 858 around 2000' as well, on 91 octane. I'm probably going to go the Boondocker route, although I really want a Vipec for further turbo opportunities. I will post a full write up when it's installed!
Well I ripped the whole motor apart because I had 2 thousand miles on it.. The piston was done. As for the install I had my engine on my work bench so it made the install easier. You could leave the engine inside your sled the only hard part was getting the cylinder back on to the engine. You will prob need a second hand to squeeze the rings while getting the cylinder on. Pm me if ya have any question. Oh as for boondocker yes it's plug and play but you do have to splice 1 wire to your tps. I installed the wideband to monitor and I am deaf and can't hear if the sled running rich or lean. Hope this help
did some searching as i read some of the info last season or at least haven't seem any new info since may. just wondering if there were any new updates and etc..
