RKT 827 first ride. awesome

installed the 827 NON PORTED and rode it 2 days solid in the mountains all weekend. the sled absolutely rips and its not even ported. with the computer mapping it ran a solid 8500+rpm all weekend. just screams. the machine feels so much smoother than the stock 800. its right there at the tip of your thumb all day. anyone who is the market for a new top end for your old zx get on this. well worth the coin. went down to 480 jets and looks like there is some room to go down to a 460 maybe. machine used less fuel than the exact same stock machine which did less riding than the 827. need to swap that 144 for a 163 with the extra power.

Boy that familiar. I got that rktek 827 kit and had kelsey port it ecm burn in my zx and it rips very pleased,added a team sec clutch,450 jets like kelsey said and the plugs look fine but i mix 2gals of fuel to a tank of gas.walks away from my xp on the flats put doesnt climb as easy,its got storage so the wife rides it.

That looks like a dynoport pipe and can maxwell... EXACT same set up as I am running... I am thinking of dropping to 460s too... Can't wait to get out an rip it up... what are you running for gearing?

this is not my sled. put it together for someone else. just spent the day tuning it with him on saturday and put it through the ringer. i still took it out with my sled with nitrous but thats just not fair!!!

rk-tek ports the intake portion of the cyl and it opens up the transfers for better flow (unobstructed) casting slag ect,173hp on a ported rk-tek 827 stroker w/the ecm feflash,stock exhaust and air box(RK-TEK.COM)Kelsey
just like on a automotive cyl head.

12.5-1 i believe 14.5 now.the new kit comes w/dual ring pistons,take a pic of stock cyl and have kelsey port them, its noticeable.
