Looking at putting RK TEK drop in piston kit in my 2007 summit 800R, who has done this. Pros and Cons to this set up, is the ecm recalibration worth the extra money??????

I've heard mixed reviews on the drop in kits. I've heard they work, but at the same time have heard of alot of guys that blew a piston with them. As far as the ECM recal, he did not offer a recal for the 800R and it was not available. That was last year, so maybe he now has one. Kelsey told me origianlly there was nothing better to gain on the 800Rs for an ECM recal, but the older 800HOs do.

I havent used a drop in kit. have 860 kit onthe way. haveused his other products with outstanding results. My ecu is getting reflashed right now too.The reflash for the 800r is new this year.
