RK Tek Ski doo 800 Ptek head 13:1 and 14.6:1 domes

Here it is. I bought this head at haydays this fall and put it on only to run my sled about 350 miles until I melted a piston (I used 87 octane gas). Well with the crappy gas around my area I am forced to sell this head with 2 sets of domes as I cant trust the gas around here. I have never ran the 14.6:1's yet as they were for my mountain setup but I did run the 13:1's for 350 miles. I promise this thing is just like brand new!!! Make me an offer I dont need it anymore. I paid $600 for it brand new so go from there. I wont accept any low balling either because I know what this thing is worth. You are suppose to run 91 octane on a stock 800 doo! 91 or better is manditory for rkt head! DUH!

Where did you pay $600?? It must have been $600 intalled. I have seen these heads all over the place for less than $400. I bought a used one this fall with both sets of domes for $100.00. Looks like brand new!!

Yeah I know im suppose to run 91 which is why I said I burnt my sled down (I used 87 octane) but that was the only gas I could buy so I did it. Thats besides the point the locator pin on the piston popped in the piston and the ring spun around catching the exhaust port and thats what happend. Im sure it was a mixture of both octane and that but whatever...Anyway I paid 600 bucks because they things are $395 for the head and one set. Then for another set of domes its $195 so ok I guess $590 but whatever it was tax. Mine looks like brand new also and it pretty much is but im still not selling the thing for $100 bucks because I know for a fact its worth plenty more than that I dont care what ya say about it. Thanks anyway
