RK Tek porting and head - fuel controller needed??

I heard once that you don't need to run a fuel controller with RK Tek's head and porting alone. I know that you need to if you add the pipe. But not sure about it if you don't.

Thoughts???

Anyone done this??

You would be better off keeping the motor stock and buying a single pipe. More hp, easier, less expensive.

The porting/head with stock pipe is good for 5hp.

I ran a 07 M8 for two seasons with Kelsey's head & port with no box. Last year added the pipe & box and turned it from good sled to a 'holy crap this is fun' sled.
