RK tech clutching questions AGAIN

I just took the M7 out for the first time with the DD kit..

My question is:

#1 It says in the instructions not to put the shims, o-ring back on after you put the Diamond upgrade on for the belt deflection?

My belt sets way too far into the sheaves..

The sled ran great until I reached about 4000-3500ft. then it would not pull the RPMs I tightened the spring 2 clicks and it worked a bit, but not enough.

I am curiouse about the deflection set-up?? can some one give me some input?:beer;:beer;

Are you running the kit with the BDX deflection adjuster? If so is it backed completely out so the sheaves close completely? In my experience the torsion setup requires less weight in the primary than a compression setup. I had to drop a couple grams off the primary weight to get it to pull RPM's.

I believe it is set-up properly IE deflection .And yes I am runniung the BDX adjuster..

I am sure I will have to take some weight away, but I need to make sure the deflection set-up is right first..

Bighoe thanks for the help. It helps to have more than one set of grey matter working on this stuff:beer;:beer;

If your belt is new, all plastic taken out of the secondary and the deflection adjuster all the way out I don't know what to tell you. Is the center to center right between the primary and secondary?
