ok im lost here a lil ! i hear of alot of people buying taller risers for the XP's ! why is my question ? im 6'3" and they seem perfect to me ! are people rolling them back a bit and needing them longer to make up the height? unless there are alot of super tall ridders out there ! whats the purpose!

you can get a little more leverage, but it seems like at a point you cant even pull on em, maybe there all just retarted? a 2 inch riser on a rt, and at 5 11 my arms are a little bent standing up

IMO alot of the risers guys use are taller than they should be, looks like Harley ape-hangers. :confused:
Mike, your going to be spending most of your time helping me get unstuck anyway. :beer;

I'm 6'3" and my XP is perfect stock. They keep you in the attack position. My old MM700 had risers that kept my arms too straight, not allowing enough leverage. It is kinda funny to see how many guys have theirs too tall. I just tell them to show me one Motorcross or Snocross guy that is standing STRAIGHT legged and STRAIGHT armed:face-icon-small-win

not sure why it matters, unless of course it is just to 'look' cool and it in no way helps them ride their sled better...

i loved the 9.25"ers on my X-Rev...

and another argument could be, how many guys are riding like a "sno crosser" is anyway..granted, 1/2 the people from the mid west like to try..but, fact is, back country pow riding is NOT sno - cross ..so..

Mike, the stock risers should be fine. The two 08's that I rode last year fit me just right and I'm 6'2".

I am just over 6'1" and added 2 inches to pull the bars and gravity center back for powder carving. Also found at end of day my arms too straight and jerking my elbows and shoulders on bumps to much. A little higher gives my arms a bend which absorbs shock. A little more pull over leverage too. Cover still fits. Goose
