Riser slips on T-post? Any fixes?

I bought a new 8" Fly billet riser awhile back, with the Fly T-post adapter for the flat topped steering posts. I torqued the riser down so tight I thought I would break something if I went any further... and when I pulled back on the bars they slid back about 4 inches..

Is there some kind of fix for this? almost wish it had a key or something kind of like how the secondary is.. nothing worse then always worrying about your riser sliding back or forward, makes me not want to ride the sled right now.
 
Peen both the t bar and the clamps with a punch and hammer, this will roughen the surfaces so when you clamp them they will have something to bite in to. I try to peen them at an angle, NOT 90" to the surface.
 
try putting some emory cloth, the kind that looks like a screen door matieral, between the T and the risers. this worked great for me.
 
Ive combined two suggestions already from this thread. I use the dremel to add notches to both the riser and the T. I also replace those easily strippable allen bolts with real bolts and I use a large ratchet to tighten them down. You can get them REALLY tight this way.
 
The ch!tty thing is the factory polaris riser and bar combo was the same rise as my fly bar and riser combo, and never moved at all! Bent the bars almost everytime I wrecked but never moved!
 
i drilled through the riser block from the bottom. stuck a nut in the pivot point and basicly hard mounted them. i used a small enough bolt so on a big hit it will break before my wrists do. real easy to do, did not take long at all.
 
Unfortunately most of the riser manufacturers don't broach or machine splines into the bores that bolt to the handlebars and steering post. If they did, slippage wouldn't be an issue.
 
I have a set on RT 1000. Been three years now and they have never moved.
Must be getting old can't remember what I did.
Think I used a chisel and hammer to make slits in them and post.
