Moving them farther forward just moves rider postion in to a more comfy spot when hillclimbing and boondocking. Its a rider preference but I will be tossing the ones i had at Hawk Fest for a set like those..... Nice work Sleder2  I was four up and three forward and LOVED them But big hit last year bent my riser:mad:Time for a set like those.

Been looking for a set myself, I've got gorilla arms (long) and it would be nice.
The only dis-advantage I see is in deep snow not as easy to scoot back put your butt / weight on the tail light to get the needed launch.

How much for a set?

Mine are custom too ! Craftsmanship is amazing just like all of sledr2's stuff.

Ergonomically the best mod for YOU on a Hawk. Wouldn't ride without them anymore. These teamed up with relocating your footpeg brackets 1-3/4" further back will make "boonhawk riding" way easier. The stock "sit down trail" position just sucks for mountain i think... Now I gotta do my seat 1-1/2" to 2" higher with a bump like the MX racers to complete the perfect position quest !

I rather that way than going down 2 inches on the footpeg. I found footpegs were catching in the super deep and were catching the top of the bumps in the trail going up. My .02 but Leave the pegs where they are and go higher on your handlebars and seat, I think it's the way to go.

What these do mainly is they finally allows you to properly pull on the handlebars ! I find they're better for everytype of riding because you're pretty much right over the center of gravity of the machine. You can lay further forward on your hood, HELPING you when going up through the super deep snow. Won't hurt anything that's for sure. Some guys may want to go lower than 2.5" high though but going forward 1-1/2" to 2" is a must I'd say.

Goodspeed, your quotes are always amazing !
