Rigid light bar wiring info needed

Can a rigid light bar be wired to the headlight wires on M1100T?

I have a 6 inch sr series rigid light bar and would like to add it to my sled that has a CF hood.
Going to mount this light to the handle bars or the hood just in front of the gauge.
Any info here would be a great help.

Just wired it to the high beam side of the wiring and haven't had problems with it at all. I like using it this way to use the high beam switch to turn it on and off

What kind of light bar do you both have?

I want to keep the headlight to light up close but I am wondering if an LED light would put more light way out front.

I noticed the PC headlight design stinks and doesn't light the trail worth a darn..

i just tied mine into the 12v accessory outlet wires. i dont have the outlet anyway. its on all the time but i dont care as the light will outlast the sled many times over. BTW its the best thing you can do to your sled as far as lighting!

These LED's are worth the money. Its amazing how much light comes out of such a small led. I couldn't imagine bigger than a 6" light. It already outshines the stock light and produces a crisp clean light.

The hood and lightbar install look pretty clean.... Bet you had a pro install them

Bought another rigid led 6" on amazon for around 235 wasn't a bad deal. Also check cyclops lights he's got some nice LEDs
