im going to be in sunriver for thanksgiving and was thinking about taking some sleds. Where should i go and would it even be worth dragging a trailer four hours?

Where would be the best place to go? I have never rode anywhere around there.
That was brutal. Then I went to Mexico during some of our best riding... last year was not a good season for me.
any rides better then no ride......
Chances are you will be doing mostly trail riding. The snow has firmed up a little bit but theres still alot of hidden rocks. Bring the sleds and enjoy the scenery. Go to bachelor, unload at dutchmen park (if possible), take a ride out the cascade lakes hwy, turn at todd lake trail and find your way up to moon mountain just to check it out. Also continue out cascade lakes hwy and go to elk lake lodge for lunch and then keep going just for the ride. Depending on trail conditions you might take a long ride to three creeks.

i have heard that an idaho snowmobile licence will work in oregon too. I have just bought idaho the last few years but have never been checked. I dont want to get to bachelor and find out that im getting tickets for five unlicenced sleds. any other tips that you can give me would be great. thanks
