Riding pics from 11/19/08...Week two of the season.

Went back up to the Tobacco-Root Mountains for another Sunday of riding with four other snowesters. Snow was 180 degrees different from last Sundays bottomless powder. In town where there was two and a half feet there was little to none. Where we made it to on the road last Sunday by sleds we parked our trucks. Snow was rough until about 8000 feet than there was a good base of hero snow. And we made the best of it. Found some great climbs and did a lot of exploring. About three feet of snow up top still, but like I said it is hero snow. Good riding still but there will not be a prequel next Sunday again unless we get some whiteness.

PS sorry for those who have not even seen it below freezing yet... hehe

Great Pics! unreal for Oct. Looks like tobaccos will have a good base. hopefully it bonds well with the future snow

that last bowl we got into, that i know the guys from MN got some pics of, just need to get em off there camera, had plenty of snow you didnt worry about hitting things, the little ridge we played on, i sidehilled into it really good and didnt hit the ground, then I made some sick climbs and trenched in and never hit any rocks, but that was 1 of 4 bowls we hit!!!

Wish I could have been there. What was the problem with Evan's sled?
its an 07x 800r, the motor sucks, and the clutching is shot, pulling like 8k strong and then drops to 7k when you have any load, and that motor sounds like its gonna last about another 2-3 rides maybe. i bet he looses the crank soon, the primary wobbles all over the place, and it makes horrible ticking noises.

Hehe wish it were true, but we did ride.... Again this October.

You kill me man! Great pix! almost glad we don't have it or I would be like a handcuffed addict with a vile in front of me! LOL just rebuilt my motor and still waiting on my controller!!! You guys definitely have got it good..

PS should ship your package sometime here soon XL&T!!

The last bowl we hit was killer. Some amazing climbs, lots of snow, cornices, and best of all we were the only ones tearing it up.
