Riding Island Park 2/27

Anyone want to go? Nothing too extreme, just my dad and I so far.

We usually meet in Ashton ~9:00 and decide where to go then.

Did you make it up? How was the snow?

We parked just north of the Ashton hill and headed west. Mostly stuck to the trails as there were a lot of stumps/rocks visible and we had a buddy and his wife (who wasn't too interested in doing much more) with us.

Gonna try again this Saturday, probably go up higher. Anyone interested?

Rode Red Butte last Friday out of Rexburg.
There were some pockets of GOOD SNOW and we had a good time on that ride.

Then went on to West Yellowstone for Sat-Sun.
Dismal conditions there.
Brown Snow, bare spots on the trails, exposed rocks, ect.
Just a major lack of snow!

Where ya planning on going for Saturday?

Not sure yet, kinda depends on who wants to go. Got any ideas?

I was thinking that it might be about time to head into Wyoming looking for better snow.

Alpine maybe??
