Riding in Walden

Any body know of the conditions near walden or rabbit ears?.. wrestling starts monday and then i have no time to ride.. id like to get a ride in thursday friday saturday maybe?.. is there snow or do i gotta wait till 3 months later when wrestling is done!?

I'd be afraid to go off trail due to the thin to non-existant snow on the ground. Yeah, there are storms in the forecast but I'd be super careful even then. I know you are jonesin' to get out and ride...we all are. But save yourself some money and possible injury and just wait it out for 3 months. The snow should be t!ts by then. Good things come to those that wait.

IF you are thinking of coming out to Colorado from South Dakota like your location says in your profile, don't. The riding isn't happening here yet. IT won't really be happening for a while. We wish it was, but it ain't.

ohk i appreciate the advice.. and im sure we're all itching just as bad as i am to get out there but id rather stay away from a 4 foot 2 ton boulder... if you guys in CO end up getting dumped on like 2 or 3 feet (hoping praying and wishing) before thursday for friday i wanna here about it

ya we all want to get out and ride. but by the look's of well have some pretty good snow by the end of the week.

You just might be able to ride down Long Draw this weekend, but I think that would be all you could do, a road ride. I keep telling myself "it's almost here"

Most in lower 48? What lot does everyone camp in over t-day RE? Jim and Jefff (yamaha guys) still ride there?
