ok lookin for a place to take my kids riding . we live in graham and i here about skate creek road and st helens . any where close to us that is safe . they have never ridden so i need an opern field and a wide road lol thanx for your help :face-icon-small-hap

Greenwater.
It's wide 2 lane road/trail from the parking lot to the cabin. Only a few miles and once at the cabin there's a series of meadows. Just watch out for the holes in the meadows. SOme are marked, but not all.

I second that! Green water has a great trail system with some maps posted at intersections. Not as many as last year though. The cabin is a great resting spot and also works well well to watch the kids ride from in the meadow.
Have fun!

He's very familiar with GW - think he was looking for something that you don't have to ride a narrow road for miles before you get to the open. Taking kids that are new to the sport altogether.

In the "good old days" we would just go to Bandera air field on I-90. Too bad they gated that off it was a great location and Parks and Rec even did their snowmobile safety course for kids there in those days.
Mike, maybe just hit Greenwater or even Kachess (Stampede exit but North side) back by the lake, they will have a blast on that lower road along the lake and poking around the campground.

Id stay away from the snow parks ,just because of the ticket happy forest service , under age?? st helens has a warming hut but you'll need to probly cut wood
