Riding down by lake Agnes?

Looking at a cabin down that way, looks to be on the south of the highway from RE. Any idea if you can find good riding down that way? Looking for a 'ride from the cabin' option. This one you have to ride into as you can't get the truck and trailer in. Thanks

Yes good riding can be found. There is wilderness area to the west and private property to the east. You could ride to RE from that area pretty quick if you wanted. There is a trail/road that runs from hwy 40 on the north to hwy 134 on the south. FR 100 on a map.

Anyone have any 'hot spots' down that area? Or are we better off just riding up to RE?

In that "area" you have ripple creek, Indian run, moraphis, yellow jacket, all within 30 min/1 hour drive that are less packed even black mtn, seed house, farewell mtn.. just to name a few

LOL yes sir google is your friend there are over 15 trail heads 1 hr from Craig I maybe able to ride a day or 2 with you guys if needed

Only reason I am curious is that we are going to have too many sleds to trailer around as a couple guys are flying in. They just sold their sleds so unfortunately they have to rent a couple sleds once we get there! If you are looking to ride we would be happy to have you join us!
