Wasn't sure it was spring until I saw no one logging in, we lost all the cyber bikers ? must be on the gardening forums.

Worse, last three rides in the back country we lost all the ...........ok other guys. No big jacked up black trucks in the parking lot, no greyhound sized trailers, no blast of KLIM gear and backpacks on new iron burning up gopro cards, heck........no game cops, no USFS green stripe pilgrim/wood cops, like they gave you the keys to the kingdom, have at it, do what ever.

Next event 4th of july.

thank you

HAHA... good stuff.

it is wild how things shut down in the spring. but sure makes for some fun!!!

not sure about over the missoula way but been super rainy and gross over in bozo so ive been laying low for the sun to come out.

yah RAIN

temped a couple of times to go today, then it begins to rain more

tweaked the wr motor some more, like to try it, now they are saying sun middle of next week.....boo, blame it on the president, rain next sat, global warming and I can see fresh snow from the house.

yeah, raining in the valley right now but only 36... calling for 6" or better up high. should be a fun jaunt in the AM. hope rain line stays low. getting my garbage bag poncho out to stay dry!

weather prediction crisis

weather man flunked, was supposed to poor( pour ) today, was sunny, until it rained at 5 pm.

Dan and I had a great ride, had one 15 minute blizzard. Tuff stuff out here, 8" or more of real dense rained on new powder, tired arms, suspect climbing, max gas consumption. fun factor about 96.

No USFS green stripe pilgrim/wood cops, I think that is a good thing.

Several inches on the ground in bozeman this morn and several snowstorms came through during the day, but all melted now. Curious what it did up high. Tore down the bike a couple weeks ago and last weekend summarized one of the two sleds (2 stroke) but the 4 stroke is on standby in case the mountains call. Just had such a great last couple rides on the bike that I wanted to end on a good note. Took the sleds out one trip after that and it wasn't fun. Still some good riding further away I suppose but now it's time to start working on all the wheeled toys to prep for summer and get all those big yard and house projects done while its between riding seasons.

Hope to get together with more snowbikers next year (wheelhouse, I'm about 2 or 3 miles up the road from you). Was a snowbike shakeout year for me; got out about 14 times. Also some sled trips. It is a lot of fun snoebiking with my sledding gal and other sledders, but will be fun to ride with some bikes, too.

Still riding here. Had full-on fluffy winter snow on Sun. Over a foot. Heck even had one guy taken down in a small avy. The NUtSS are headed to Tony on Friday, Harleys' 21'st b-day ride.

Still riding

2' of fresh Sunday, 10 degrees at 11,500'. Felt like January. Best conditions of the year, really. Could not keep the bike up to temps no way no how. Got back to the trucks with a cup of gas each.

Nice. Where?

Telluride. High today is supposed to be 55. Still lots of snow up there. We're going to give it a go today, but getting to the snow could be a challenge.

Bike is a 13 yz450, no thermostat yet, but it will get one this summer. Just ordered an engine cowl and fuel controller too. Oil was 50% gas!
