Riding Clinics / Thoughts, Experiances ???

Check out ridecascade.com newer company that's has competitive prices and very private spots to ride the cascades. Awesome times good ppl! New 850 doo, 2 axys a pro and turbo 800 etec all decked out to rent or demo while your there too! Lots of backcountry knowledge and they can teach you a lot about sled control whys and how's!

I rode with Matt Entz in South Fork, Co this past March. It was my 2nd trip ever snowmobiling. My first trip was riding 2 days on a rental sled at Togwotee Mountain lodge. I purchased a new pro rmk 800 this past winter and took a friend of mine with me to ride with Matt. My friend had 20 years on a snowmobile and he said he learned more in two days than in 20 years. Matt was extremely down to earth. I was actually shocked at how humble he was. He stopped in South Fork and loaded up our sleds in his trailer to head to the pass. He swapped clutch weights for me and was happy to do so. He offered any of his avy packs and gear to try out. I was out of my element the entire time, but he was an amazing instructor. I still remember some of the tips he gave me like it was yesterday. Every time I was stuck, he was there immediately helping me or riding my sled to a better point to get started again. I haven't ridden with any of the other clinics and I have no desire to after riding with Matt. He may not be the biggest name out there, but his skill set is unreal. The amount of 1 on 1 attention was amazing and his patience with a novice like myself was unparalleled. South Fork is a long drive from Sioux City, IA, but Matt Entz will likely be the only person I give my hard-earned money to. I can't say enough about this man, his talent and his clinic. You should have no fears about signing up with Mountain Skillz.

WOW! Thank you all for the kind words! I am beyond fortunate to have spent time on the snow with those of you that have chimed in along with everyone else that has visited Mountain Skillz. I am more than happy to answer any specific questions publicly or privately. We're in the process of updating everything on our website with some big and exciting news.... The dates listed on the site for workshops are current for the upcoming season and any of those 3 day dates can be setup as a 1, 2, or 3 day workshop.

Thanks, Matt

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a quick update. While we don't have any snow yet, it should be starting anytime now and we're ready for it! Our schedule is filling in quickly and our discounted preseason rates will end October 31st. If you're thinking about joining us or have any questions, don't hesitate to give me a call or shoot me an email. We're getting the new sleds put together and are very much looking forward to a great winter full of instructional riding workshops and avalanche safety courses!

Thanks, Matt
